Program Files An additional question: on my machine the text in control panel says "Mail Microsoft Outlook bit " whereas on the machine I fixed the "bit" part is missing. Does anyone have a clue where that text is hidden in the Registry I assume it is. I only found it in 1 MRU entry, all other entries didn't have that 32bit part. If a complete re-install did not the show the mail applet then there is, as was said previously a Win problem, and you failed to make any attempt to diagnose that.
